my one and only?

I have never been able to start a blog and keep it up so this time I am just putting it out there and saying, this is my one and only post. We'll see what happens...

I have discovered a couple of things in the last week: Ann Arbor, Michigan, urban-fairies, and Red Shoes... because there's no place like home. I'm not sure how I ran across this idea, probably in a magazine, but I saw the words "FAIRY DOOR" and I was captured. I looked up fairy doors on Google and was directed to http://www.urban-fairies.com/index.html This is the coolest website and this guy is SO into it. You have to go there. I am working on acquiring my own fairy door now and hoping that a few fairies will take up residence in my daughter's room. We'll see! The search also lead me to http://www.redshoeshomegoods.com/ which is an AWESOME little shop that I would fly to Ann Arbor just to visit. Catherine, the store owner, also has a blog located: http://redshoesllc.typepad.com/ She has my dream!!! I want to know how to make this happen for me!!! Maybe I will email her! Anyway, that's the end of my first and only attempt at my blog ;)
